As 2025 comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey I’ve had this year. This year, my business, Cathy Newman Consulting LLC, achieved success beyond my expectations, and I’ve grown more in my area of genius than I ever thought possible. I am so grateful for the strides I’ve made professionally and personally.
One of the highlights of this year was my role as a Career & Technical Education High School Business and Marketing Educator. Though I had initially hoped to become an adjunct professor of business, I have found pure satisfaction and fulfillment in my current position. It’s more than I ever imagined, and I can see the impact I’m making in shaping young minds for their futures in business and marketing. Every day is a testament to God’s plan and timing.
On a personal level, I am beyond proud of my daughters. Each of them is thriving in their respective careers, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the women they have become. Watching them chase their dreams and succeed brings me so much joy.
However, the most profound blessing of all this year is the healing of my husband. On the brink of death, I activated prayer warriors around him, and after 45 long days of being in and out of the hospital, God, the ultimate Healer, spared his life. My heart is full of gratitude for the miracle that we’ve witnessed. It’s been a journey of faith, and I give all the glory to God.
Throughout this year, I have prayed for everything. I’ve shared my prayers and daily devotionals on Facebook and Instagram stories, believing in the power of prayer and the strength it gives me. I am a steward and child of the Most High God, and I step into 2026 with God as the Head of my Household, leading us toward even greater things.
As we close out 2025, I am deeply thankful for every blessing, every lesson, and every miracle. The journey isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it when we trust God’s plan. Thank you, Lord, for being the Healer that You are.
Here’s to the New Year, to continued growth, and to walking in His purpose for our lives.
